Barbara Sweeney, AIA Emeritus

Barbara Sweeney, AIA Emeritus, has been a licensed architect since 1988. After completing her B.S. Arch. degree at University of Virginia, and her M. Arch. degree at University of Maryland, she worked at several Baltimore architecture firms along with award winning Wiedemann Architects in Bethesda. Barbara has been a project architect or project manager for high end custom residential projects for most of her career. She brings her experience serving on the Baltimore Chapter of AIA for almost 25 years, including chairman of the program committee for 5 years and a director on the board for several years. She moved from Baltimore to Annapolis in 2009 and has been a board member on both the Chesapeake Bay and Maryland State AIA chapters for many years.
